Exacto is excited to announce Eva Magnusen‘s promotion to Director of Strategy and Operations. In her new role, Eva will be part of the Exacto Leadership Team. In its 40th anniversary year, Exacto is increasingly focused on aligning with our customers towards critical areas of strategic impact. Exacto’s focus on ‘Growing Together’ requires increased collaboration and cross-functional leadership between Operations, Sales, and Exacto’s key customers and suppliers.

What Eva brings by way of her character, commitment, experience, education, and how she leads and manages makes me thrilled to have her taking point as our new Director of Strategy and Operations.”

Eva joined Exacto in 2016 in Finance and, most recently has served successfully as a Business Leader over the Turf and Ornamental and Industrial Vegetation Management markets. Prior to joining Exacto, Eva was a CFO for a logistics firm and project manager in telecommunications. She earned a bachelor’s degree in Business Administration and Finance from the University of Wisconsin – Green Bay and an MBA from Southern New Hampshire University.  

Exacto Heads to Capitol Hill

Leaders from Exacto and other companies recently took part in advocacy activities in Washington, DC, engaging in twenty-four meetings with congressional leadership, senators, and the Environmental Protection Agency (EPA). They addressed a major challenge related to the Endangered Species Act (ESA).

Failed weed control may resemble herbicide resistance, but it’s not always the culprit. Recent cases of HPPD-inhibitor (group 27) herbicide failures have shown that certain application errors are more common culprits than resistance. This research shows ways to overcome these application challenges.
